There is a couple of Assa around London. This particular one i visited is in Soho.
As i like hot, sour, spicy, soupy stuff, i absolutely loved the below dishes i had. Previously i went to another outlet at Tottenham Road and the Korean ger with me told me that it is pretty lousy and she could easily cooked the same. But personally i love the food here. Craving for it now as i am blogging it. Dint take pictures of all the food we ordered and kinda forgotten what the dishes are called so no captions this time.
Address: 23 Romilly Street, Soho, London, W1D 5 AQ
Cuisine Type: Korean
Verdict: Cant wait to be back there!!! I just simply love hot and spicy food...
Started this blog as i decided that it might be easier for me to jot down where i ate at / visited so that if friends ask me to recommend places when they are over for a visit, i can just refer back to this blog of mine...

The Terrace @ Le Meridien
Afternoon tea.... My all time love...
Headed down to The Terrace @ Le Meridien for afternoon tea with another girl. Chose this place as i have 50% off the menu using the Tastelondon card.
Location was great and the place was not crowded. Hence great escape from the crowds on the streets.
Food was very tasty (esp. the macaroon) and service from staff was really good. Think the picture i took doesn't do justice to the food as it taste much better than it looks.

However, if you are looking for cakes, scones, sandwiches and tea served in pretty lovely chinaware, you might be disappointed. As they are served in ordinary stainless steel teapot and plates.
The TERRACE Afternoon Tea- £21.95 (extracted from the menu)
Cucumber and cream cheese
Egg mayonnaise
Scottish smoked salmon
Warm homemade scones

Verdict : Food is good, but without 50% think price is a little steep for me. With 50% off, will definitely be heading back.

The Breakfast Club @ Angel
My friend from Singapore was down in London for a visit and we arranged to meet for brunch.
So upon the recommendation of my friends, we headed to the Breakfast Club.
Address: 31 Camden Passage, N1 8EA
Website: http://www.thebreakfastclubcafes.com/
Verdict: Unless i don't need to queue, otherwise guess i can do without coming here for brunch.
So upon the recommendation of my friends, we headed to the Breakfast Club.
The queue to get a seat was horrendous. We queued in the rain for say 30mins before we got a table which was situated at a rather awkward spot. Our table was at the corner - meaning the table facing the wall (hence 2 out of 4 sides of the table is against the wall and we were seated facing the walls. Then there was multiple plug point sitting on the wall at the height just above our table top (Hence we are facing the wall, the plugs and the cables).
Anyway was hoping that the wait and the lousy table that we got would be forgotten amidst the good food that we are about to have. Haiz.. I was wrong. Think the breakfast set that i had was so-so. I can get something similar at maybe half the price in Canary Wharf - Kruger without the crowd and the wait. Pictures as attached below

The same but with sunny side up instead of poached eggs |

Saw the cables? And we are seated near the walkway whereby the waiter and waitress keep walking pass and knocking into our seat. Not exactly my idea of the way to start a Sunday. |
